His playing is grounded in strong technique and musicality, with a particular focus on sound, rhythm, and expressive phrasing. Aaron has extensive experience performing with bands and in collaborative projects as a pianist and keyboard player, including writing, recording and touring. This gives him a practical understanding of timing, groove, listening, and playing with others, which he brings into lessons with students. Aaron also has experience accompanying singers and instrumentalists in rehearsals and performances, and can help students develop ensemble skills, confident timing, and sensitive musical communication. He has formally studied music, visual art, music therapy, and songwriting, earning two degrees in music. Today he continues to work professionally as a songwriter and recording artist.
