Aaron: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Aaron offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 2 and above, from beginner to very advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and over 15 years of experience teaching piano, alongside a professional career as a performer and songwriter. Aaron has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. As a solo pianist, Aaron has performed both classical and contemporary repertoire, and is also an experienced improviser. His playing is grounded in strong technique and musicality, with a particular focus on sound, rhythm, and expressive phrasing. Aaron has extensive experience performing with bands and in collaborative projects as a pianist and keyboard player, including writing, recording and touring. This gives him a practical understanding of timing, groove, listening, and playing with others, which he brings into lessons with students. Aaron also has experience accompanying singers and instrumentalists in rehearsals and performances, and can help students develop ensemble skills, confident timing, and sensitive musical communication. He has formally studied music, visual art, music therapy, and songwriting, earning two degrees in music. Today he continues to work professionally as a songwriter and recording artist. His background supports a structured but flexible teaching style, with strong foundations in reading and technique alongside creativity, ear training, chords, and improvisation. Aaron’s lessons are supportive, clear, and goal-focused, helping students build strong fundamentals while also developing confidence, musical independence, and a genuine enjoyment of playing piano.
