Our online piano teacher Naina offers classical piano lessons for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Ph.D. in Music and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Naina has been teaching piano lessons since 1992. In her career, she has appeared as a pianist in solo recitals, with piano duos, and in orchestras. She has written extensively in instrumental, vocal, choral, chamber, and orchestral genres, with particular attention given to children’s piano literature. Naina has composed multiple collections of piano pieces of various difficulty levels, dedicated to students interested in exploring contemporary music. Her works have been performed in Australia, Canada, Europe, and the United States, and are featured in the Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Syllabus and in the Alliance for Canadian New Music Projects Syllabus. In 2019, Naina performed, produced, and published her own album, “Piano Dreams,” an anthology of 14 piano ballads. Naina is also the recipient of many international awards, gold medals, and scholarships, including the Romanian Composers’ League Prize and the UNESCO award. As a piano teacher, Naina has held a number of professional roles, including assistant professor, university lecturer, score reading coordinator, teaching assistant, and accompanist. She has taught diverse students of all ages and abilities, in both university and private studio settings. Under Naina’s guidance, her students have achieved hundreds of prestigious awards, scholarships, and trophies at provincial and national levels, such as the Winnipeg Music Festival, the Kiwanis Music Festival of London, and the prestigious Canadian Music Competition, as well as the highest honors from the Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada for their piano and theory examinations. A number of her students have also earned gold medals in RCM examinations. For her successful piano instruction, Naina has been awarded with the high distinction of Teacher Certificate of Recognition two separate years. Her goal is to instill a sense of music appreciation, while at the same time teaching students about the technical aspects of piano and giving them the best possible foundations. Naina strongly believes that music has the power to change people’s lives— to contribute to their social, cultural, and spiritual growth, as well as to serve as a profound medium of personal expression.
