Our online piano teacher Miiya, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Diploma of Higher Education from the Royal College of Music and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Miiya has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. Miiya has been a pianist, musician, and actress almost her entire life, and she has performed at various prestigious venues, including Kioi Hall in Tokyo, St. Martin in the Fields in London, and West End Theaters. Her first big solo performance was at Kioi Hall as a prize winner at her middle school. She was also selected to perform in many student performances during her time at Toho Gakuen School of Music. During her two years at the Royal College of Music, she was selected to perform at the Steinway show room after receiving the highest mark in her year. Miiya's work as an actor has allowed her to perform with various arrangements of instruments and genres. She performed in the West End revival of Amelie in 2021, playing the piano and violin, while also acting and singing. Miiya enjoys getting to know her students individually and crafting a unique learning space to meet each individual student’s needs. She believes that every lesson is different!
