Our online piano teacher Lauren offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to very advanced. This piano teacher has a PhD in Musicology and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Lauren has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. Lauren has performed as a solo pianist at various concerts, such as music school concerts in Ireland. Although she is a professional pianist, she is also talented in other areas of music, such as classical accordion. She has performed and competed nationally and internationally as a musician in Belgium, England, France, Ireland, and Poland. She has received awards and accolades for her performances in such compositions. Throughout Lauren's time teaching and managing music schools in Ireland, she also acted as the school accompanist. For ABRSM, Trinity and Royal Irish Academy graded exams, she has accompanied vocal, violin, saxophone and flute students, from Grade 1 up to Senior certificate level. Lauren has also accompanied many students at music school concerts with repertoire ranging from classical, rock, and musical theatre. Lauren is a passionate musician and educator. Music theory, performance, and competitions are her areas of expertise. No matter what standard or style a student would like to learn, she can offer the knowledge and tools to help each student progress.
