She has performed at renowned venues, including the Royal College of Music’s Consort Hall, Performance Hall, and St. Mary Abbots Church. Mengyao’s solo performances showcase her technical precision and emotional depth, leading her to attain Distinction at the Royal College of Music. She has also led masterclasses at the China Nanjing International Youth Music Festival and acted as a competition judge. In addition to her solo repertoire, Mengyao is an accomplished collaborative pianist, working with a wide range of vocalists and instrumentalists.​ She has an extensive background performing with chamber ensembles and orchestras, demonstrating her versatility and collaborative expertise. She has performed in a trio with double bass and flute at both the Royal Academy of Music Recital Hall and St Mary Abbots Church. She has also accompanied violinists, performed with double bass, and served as the accompanist for the 2023 Royal Maas International Music Competition's First Prize saxophone winner. Mengyao is a highly versatile pianist, proficient in teaching and performing both classical and contemporary accompaniment.
