Ji: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Ji Eun offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 8 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Composition and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Ji Eun has been teaching piano lessons since 2002. Ji Eun is a professional composer, pianist, improviser, and educator. Her works are performed internationally by leading musicians and ensembles, such as the Brooklyn College Orchestra, Duo 46, Richard Zimdars, Wiro Ensemble, and James Brandon. As a solo pianist and accompanist, Ji Eun has performed with prestigious musicians, ensembles and orchestras, including the Brooklyn College Opera Theater, and Summer National Opera Program. She is a recipient of the U.S. Arts and Sciences Special Talent Visa, and has been awarded the Korea-American Scholarship Foundation scholarship twice. Ji Eun is also a talented composer, and her compositions have been selected and performed at the Korea Chamber Music Composition Festival, the Seoul Arts Center in South Korea, and the University of North Georgia Contemporary Music Composition Conference. In addition to her work being shown around the world, Ji Eun has received international awards for composition, including the Composers' Forum at the Oregon Bach Festival and the 3rd International Young Artists' Competition. Dr. Moon's professional experience as a pianist, composer, and music teacher will help students to be inspired in learning the piano and developing their musicianship.
