Jim: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Jim offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Jim has been teaching piano lessons since 1999. In his career, Jim has played piano at many weddings, receptions, bars, restaurants, fairs, and other venues. Jim has experience playing and recording with small pop/rock and jazz ensembles, playing standards and original works. He currently leads a praise and worship band at his church. During his time at Westminster Choir College, Jim gained extensive experience accompanying vocalists, both in rehearsals and recitals. He also recently wrote and recorded a jingle for a podcast. As a jazz musician and composer, Jim sees music as a language, and it is his goal to teach his piano students to not only read and play music, but to also speak through music.
