Our online piano teacher Ezequiel offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Ezequiel has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. This piano teacher is a renowned South American jazz pianist and composer with extensive training and performance experience across the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. He is one of only a few Ecuadorians who have been awarded a Steinway & Sons prize in the category of Jazz Piano Solo. Ezequiel was the director and composer of the Ezequiel Balseca Trio, which was nominated for Jazzahead! 2020 in Germany. He currently leads Mad Gamble in Narrm, Australia. In addition, he has contributed to the vibrant musical scenes of several Asian cities by performing in a number of line-ups in recent years. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with internationally-acclaimed musicians and ensembles, including Wolfgang Schmid, Mindy Meng Wang, Christian Lillinger, Nana Koizumi, and Zbyszek Szwajdych. Ezequiel is also a jazz pianist for the Norwegian Cruise Line and has been assigned to perform in the Caribbean and Mediterranean Sea on multiple occasions. Ezekiel’s many years as a performer and teacher have given him a passion for making music accessible to everyone, a passion he is eager to share through his piano lessons.
