Kirsty: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Kirsty offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and deeply varied experience performing, which informs her dynamic teaching style. Kirsty has been teaching piano lessons since 2015. Kirsty is a consummate solo performer, having performed in major London venues, including Steinway Hall and St. Martin-in-the Fields. She has also performed around the world, including in Austria, France, Germany, and Hong Kong. She is a prize-winning pianist, including at the Manchester International Piano Concerto Competition. This piano teacher has also performed in trios and quintets at notable venues, such as Wigmore Hall and Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room. Her music is influenced by folk and improvisation, which she pairs with electronic ambient sounds to create a unique musical language. She has also performed collaboratively with many renowned musicians, both as a pianist and a harpist. Her performances have included concerts, ensembles, and events, such as the opening gala of the Koch Foundation. Kirsty is also a skilled accompanist, and regularly accompanies exam pupils and student concerts. She is the founder of Mess Collective, a multidisciplinary arts group hosting sold-out hybrid exhibitions and live events in East London. This piano teacher’s wealth of experience as a classical musician, combined with her passion for contemporary and electronic music, allow her to draw on a wide range of skills in her teaching. Kirsty’s piano lessons are tailored to the individual, and she ensures each pupil's musical passion is encouraged and expanded upon.
