Eren: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Eren offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Eren has been teaching piano lessons since 2017. In his career, this piano teacher has released a successful debut album, Place to Remind Yourself of When You Fall. His album has gained over 3.5 million streams and been featured on radio programs, including Ólafur Arnalds’ Ultimate Calm on BBC Radio 3. Eren also has extensive performance experience, playing at many events, such as Yamaha’s The Silent Piano Sessions and the Istanbul International Improvisation Festival. His concert works have also been performed at venues such as the Amsterdam Grachten Festival. Eren has performed and recorded with chamber ensembles and orchestras in a variety of professional settings. He recorded with the Gelders Orkest alongside 40 musicians for his original soundtrack to the film Nocturne. His work has also involved collaborations with choirs, string quartets, woodwind ensembles, and larger orchestral groups across a range of film and concert projects. In addition to his work in classical settings, Eren has performed extensively in jazz trios and ensembles, bringing his background in improvisation and jazz piano to live performance. He has written music for award-winning films, featured at festivals such as San Sebastian Film Festival, IDFA Documentary Festival, Palm Springs, and Sheffield Documentary Festival. His recent works include the short, Two Places at Once, the documentary film Scenes with My Father, television documentary Four Winters of Theo van den Boogaard, and the IDFA Audience Prize Winner and Netherlands Film Festival Golden Calf for Best Documentary Feature nominated film, Naziha's Spring. He has also written music for many shorts and animations, including Onno the Oblivious, which won the Orona Award for Most Cutting Edge Film at the 62nd San Sebastian Film Festival, and English National Opera commissioned award-winning animation, Leonor. As a teacher, Eren welcomes working with students who are not yet familiar with standard notation. He regularly teaches using chord symbols and ear-based methods, helping learners of all backgrounds build fluency, confidence, and creativity. Eren’s piano lessons often incorporate ear training, improvisation, and music theory, all delivered in a relaxed and supportive environment.
