Magdalize: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Magdalize offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Magdalize has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. She is well experienced with solo performances, both on piano and a variety of other instruments. She has played with different bands at a number of venues, ranging from small house concerts to music festival concerts with 18,000 attendees. These performances have featured a variety of different musical genres. Her experience playing as soloist at classical music festivals has helped her gain insight into performance preparedness for concerts, knowledge which she uses to instruct her piano students. She has also performed with notable instrumentalists at concerts and festivals, such as the South African music festival Oppikoppi. Magdalize's experience in accompaniment ranges from beginner to advanced students. She believes in guiding the student to find their own solo voice, becoming more confident in their playing with the support of their teacher. When working with students on a performance piece, she enhances their understanding by teaching detailed information about the work, the music period, and its interpretations. Magdalize believes music should be enjoyable, and aims to incorporate all the elements of music in her lessons through fun activities, aural training, music theory, and sight reading.
