Alex: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Alex offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and theoretical knowledge of a wide range of musical styles. Alex has been teaching piano lessons since 2025. They have performed at the West Road Concert Hall and various Cambridge colleges, including performances of their own compositions. This teacher has also appeared as a pianist in various theatrical productions, including Amadeus at the ADC Theatre and a jazz version of Peer Gynt at the Edinburgh Fringe. Alex has accompanied both vocalists and instrumentalists, and is also confident playing duets alongside other pianists. They are an avid composer, with works including a full score for an English-language premiere of an acclaimed French play, and various pieces for chamber ensembles and solo piano. With a background in education, this teacher provides a compassionate and comfortable learning environment for students. Their lessons cover scales and music theory, as well as practice and improvisation. Alex’s wide range of musical knowledge and practical experience allows them to offer engaging, varied, and supportive piano lessons to students of all ages and proficiencies.
