His performance experience is closely connected to his scholarly and pedagogical work, supporting performances that are grounded in careful score study, historical awareness, technical control, and refined tone production. Daniel also has experience performing piano in chamber music settings with instrumentalists and vocalists in recital and concert contexts in Canada, Spain, and the United Kingdom. His chamber work includes collaborative repertoire presented in professional and academic venues, with an approach grounded in attentive listening, rhythmic stability, and stylistically informed ensemble playing. Daniel has extensive experience performing as a piano accompanist for instrumentalists and vocalists in instructional, rehearsal, exam, and performance settings, offering sensitivity and reliability to performers.
