William: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher William offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. William has been teaching piano lessons since 2015. In his career, this piano teacher has performed solo piano for various events, recitals, and concerts across the United Kingdom, recently commissioned by the international club Soho House to perform jazz piano in Edinburgh. William is also a talented collaborative performer, having worked for over a decade in various ensembles, bands, and orchestras. He is a performer in and composer for a classic music duo called Aeth, which is currently recording an album ahead of a tour across the UK this summer. William also performed as a member of the pop band Spare Daze and as a keyboardist for the rock band White Noise, which performed in music festivals, clubs, and events. He has worked in many formal settings, performing for the Leeds Conservatoire Improvised Ensemble, the Leeds New Music Ensemble, and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. William has performed as a piano accompanist for instrumentalists, vocalists, and students for exams and recitals at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and City of Edinburgh Council schools. He has written for and conducted a number of acclaimed ensembles including Decibel, the Ligati Quartet, Riot Ensemble, Opera North, and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. William recently finished a performance at the Richard Burton Theatre of scenes from his new opera ‘My Lifelong Prisoner.’ He has also composed music for film, including for a documentary nominated at the Sheffield DocFest. He has over a decade of experience teaching both adults and children both individually and in the classroom, specializing in working with children with additional support needs. William’s high level of training and vast professional experience as a pianist, composer, and music educator allow him to offer engaging and inspiring piano lessons, catered to each of his student’s goals and aspirations.
