Our online piano teacher Edward offers classical and jazz piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree, is an active concert pianist, and is enthusiastic about sharing the love and journey of music. Edward has been teaching piano lessons since 2022. Edward is an experienced classical solo pianist who has performed extensively in the UK and abroad, including performances at the Bridgewater Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic, Stoller Hall, Leeds Town Hall, Steinway Hall in London, Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, and the Liszt Academy in Budapest. He has also received prizes in several international piano competitions, including the Liszt Society International Piano Competition, Christopher Duke International Piano Competition, Vienna International Piano Competition, and the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe Competition. Edward is also an active chamber musician and collaborative pianist, with extensive experience in vocal accompaniment. He has received first prizes in both the Dorothy Richardson English Song Competition and the Alexander Young Competition, and was also selected as a Leeds Song Young Artist in 2026, further developing his experience working collaboratively. His chamber and collaborative performances have taken place at major venues including the Liverpool Philharmonic, Trinity College Chapel, and the Liszt Academy in Budapest. Through this work, Edward has developed a strong sensitivity to ensemble balance, listening, communication, and responding flexibly to other musicians. In 2026, Edward was selected as a Scholar by both the Drake Calleja Trust and the Craxton Memorial Trust, following a highly competitive, international selection processes. These awards recognise his developing career as a classical pianist and provide significant support for his continued performance and musical development. Edward encourages students to explore the spiritual and expressive dimensions of music, helping them develop a deeper connection with the piano and discover their own individual artistic voice.
