He studied Jazz Piano at the Edna Manley College School of Music and also holds a Bachelor of Science in General Physics from The University of the West Indies, with minors in Mathematics and Science Education. His multidisciplinary background has shaped a teaching approach that combines creativity with clear, structured learning, helping students understand not only what to play, but why music works through patterns, harmony, rhythm, and musical structure. Students with analytical minds, including those from science, engineering, mathematics, and technology, often appreciate this logical and systematic approach to learning the piano.
Jerome's philosophy is to develop pianists who are comfortable across a variety of musical styles while building a complete set of musical skills.
