John: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher John offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. John has been teaching piano lessons since 2009. In his career, John has performed at state-level competitions for classical piano, as well as ragtime and jazz. He is also a talented accompanist, and regularly plays for weddings, choirs, and chamber and ensemble string performances. He has won multiple prizes across disciplines and genres for his high-end execution of musical theory in practice and performance. As a music teacher, he has worked in both private and university settings, leading comprehensive lesson plans with activities tailored to any skill level. He brings a strong knowledge of music theory, technique, and performance to instruction that emphasizes both foundational skills and expression. John's focus as a piano teacher is to instill and foster a love of music in all students that work with him, in a non-judgmental and inclusive learning environment.
