Our online piano teacher Tara offers classical and sacred/Christian piano lessons for ages 9 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Tara has been teaching piano lessons since 2002. In her career, this piano teacher has performed several recitals, allowing her to further her musicianship skills as an advanced classical piano student. She has performed sacred piano solo music on numerous occasions at her home church during services. This piano teacher not only has a passion for playing and teaching piano, but she also has a passion to help others in her community. She volunteers as a pianist for seniors at a seniors' apartment facility on a monthly basis, and serves as a volunteer board member for the Association for Adult Musicians with Hearing Loss. This piano teacher encourages piano students to keep pursuing their dreams no matter what obstacles may come their way. She lives by two mottos that she passes on to her students and anyone she meets: you waste no journey when growth happens; listen to music not through the ears but through the spirit.
