About Nicole
Our online piano teacher, Nicole, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Nicole has been teaching piano lessons since 2003. In her career, this piano teacher and pianist has performed in many recitals and competitions as a soloist, most notably at the Mazzoleni Concert Hall in Ihnatowycz Hall, Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, and in Walter Hall, Faculty of Music, University of Toronto. She has played with many chamber ensembles through the University of Toronto Classical Piano Performance program. In addition, this piano teacher has played piano and keys for a number of bands, as well as jazz and pop ensembles. She is also the lead singer and pianist in her own band, sometimes performing as a soloist. She has performed at many venues in Toronto including The Concord and Roy Thomson Hall, and at multiple venues for Canadian Music Week. An accomplished accompanist, Nicole has performed with opera singer Cassandra Warner as well as many classical singers and musicians while at the University of Toronto. She has also accompanied vocalists and instrumentalists in jazz and contemporary styles, as well as musical theater productions. This piano teacher has written and produced music for podcasts and for several of her own albums. She has received recognition and funding from MuchFACT, VideoFACT, and the MNO to continue to pursue her creative musical craft. This piano teacher wants to share her love of music with all her students and help them understand all the beauty and nuance that a musical education has to offer.
