About Lifia
Our online piano teacher Lifia offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano, as well as in music production. Lifia has been teaching piano lessons since 2004. Lifia is an Indonesian-born pianist, composer, and producer whose passion is to make music that touches hearts and changes lives. In her career, she has performed extensively, including as a soloist with the OSU Corvallis Orchestra. Her piano talents have won her awards, including first place at the PSU Concerto Competition in the United States. Lifia's piano quartet score, Liber Dangdut, was performed in the College Music Society & Association for Technology in Music Instruction National Conference in New York and the College Music Society & American Musicological Society Pacific NW Conference. A news outlet stated that her arrangement for prepared piano, Rek Ayo Rek, “successfully swayed the audience on their seats according to the rhythm of the music.” She has also created her own debut album, an Indonesian-fusion titled INDspire: Inspiration from Indonesia, which is now available on all streaming platforms. Lifia has also been featured on Thursdays at Three and Friday Happy Hour on All Classical Portland Radio in the United States for a number of years. As a piano instructor, seeing her students’ joy at playing the music they enjoy, or even composing their own, is Lifia’s greatest satisfaction in teaching.
