About Cindy
Our online piano teacher Cindy offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Cindy has been teaching piano lessons since 2022. In her career, Cindy has performed solo piano recitals at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston. Her piano performances have earned her several accolades, including the Queen’s University Dan School Piano Prize and an honorable mention at the Queen’s University Concerto Aria Competition. She also performs as a solo and collaborative pianist in weddings, church services, and other private events. Cindy has played piano in numerous trios, including those with singers, string players, and woodwind instruments. She has also played in the Queen's University Wind Ensemble and Queen's University Orchestra. She has taken part in a variety of musical performances, appearing at the Karen Hitchcock Rehearsal Hall and the Jennifer Velva Performance Hall at the Isabel Bader Centre. Cindy is also a sought-after piano accompanist for instrumentalists, vocalists, and choirs. She is well-versed in string, woodwind, and voice repertoire. She works regularly accompanying for church services and for choir and musical theatre settings in local high schools. Cindy’s passion for music education and making it accessible to all allows her to connect deeply with students and offer inspiring piano lessons, unique to each student’s age, goals, and music aspirations.
