About Ricky

Our online piano teacher Ricky offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Ricky has been teaching piano lessons since 2020. Ricky is a seasoned solo pianist with extensive experience captivating audiences through his mesmerizing performances. Over the years, he has honed his craft and established himself as a versatile musician, including having successfully worked as a wedding pianist. Throughout his career as a solo pianist, Ricky has had the privilege of performing at numerous prestigious events and venues, enriching gatherings with his melodious renditions. Whether it be an intimate gathering or a grand event, Ricky has the innate ability to tailor his performances to suit the ambiance and create a memorable experience for all in attendance. He is also a collaborative performer, and has toured with a number of bands, ranging in style from progressive rock to electronic to 90’s rock. He possesses a strong love for a wide array of musical genres. Ricky is also an experienced accompanist, and has performed as a member of accompanying bands for several theatrical productions, through which he has showcased his musical skills and enhanced theatrical experiences. As both a performer and teacher, he prides himself in his strong understanding of what he believes are the two most important and core components of music: technical fundamentals and emotion. Ricky promises to provide every student with the tools they need to completely master the former, so that they can experience the latter.
