About Sam

Our online piano teacher Sam offers classical piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Sam has been teaching piano lessons since 2024. In his career, Sam has performed for several years at Berea College, both as as a pianist and as a vocalist. His performance experience has been developed greatly through weekly meetings with other peers to share progress made over the last week. He also gave a lecture-recital at the end of his undergraduate studies in piano. Sam has performed works by a variety of composers, demonstrating a range of piano and vocal repertoire. During his undergraduate studies, he was also a music theory and aural harmony teaching associate for each level of the courses offered at his university. Sam is also a talented accompanist, and has been accompanying churches and singers for many years. Sam's extensive knowledge of music theory and aural harmony will allow him to be an effective teacher. Sam’s diverse work within the music industry will help both new and experienced students to have a successful piano learning journey.
