About Lisa

Our online piano teacher Lisa offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 8 and above, from beginner to very advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Piano Performance degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Lisa has been teaching piano lessons since 1983. In her career as a musical director and accompanist, Lisa has performed live music professionally in theatres, auditions, choirs, concerts, and special events, such as weddings and funerals. Lisa has also played in many small ensembles for various celebrations and events. She is a veteran accompanist with nearly four decades of experience accompanying for auditions and rehearsals. She plays and conducts shows and rehearsals from her piano regularly, usually creating a band to accommodate the needs of each show. As an accompanist, Lisa has played with singers and instrumentalists in concert format, in theatrical productions, in churches, and for events. Lisa is talented in all realms of music as an active pianist, accompanist, conductor, arranger, and educator. She teaches in her private studio, and has also taught classroom music and in university settings. Lisa enjoys discovering what her students want to accomplish in music, understanding their learning style, and facilitating an efficient, thorough, and entertaining route to each student's success in playing the piano.
