Our online piano teacher Hong An offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to very advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Hong An has been teaching piano lessons since 2018. She was the youngest Asian graduate from The Nuremberg University of Music, Germany, Piano Performance Department, receiving both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music degree. During her studies, she was recognized with the DAAD Prize— for international students who have distinguished themselves not only through exceptional academic achievements, but also through their remarkable social and intercultural commitment. Hong An is now a professional pianist who has performed in many places around the world and won numerous international piano awards. She has performed in many concerts in Austria and Germany, and has also been invited to perform on German radio and television. She was the first and youngest Vietnamese contestant invited to participate in The Russian International Piano Competition and the youngest Asian contestant to earn three awards at the International Piano Competition in California. She was also awarded first prize in the prestigious Steinway Piano Competition in Germany. Her research addresses the influences of politics and society on music, research that has gained international acclaim. Hong An is also a talented composer, music director, and creative director. Her concert projects have been recognized worldwide at music festivals and competitions. Hong An’s high level of qualifications and professional experience allow her to offer engaging and inspiring piano lessons, catered to each of her student’s goals and aspirations.
