About Catarina

Our online piano teacher Catarina offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 8 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Catarina has been teaching piano lessons since 1994. In her career, she has worked in diverse roles within the music field. She has long been a performing member of the musical trio Allegro. Catarina was also the resident pianist for the Santo Amaro de Oeiras choir in Portugal for two decades. She loves accompanying and often performs alongside talented young musicians and fellow colleagues. She has worked with performers of a variety of instruments and levels. As a teacher, Catarina has worked in a number of settings at various types of music schools. She is very professional, but most importantly, very empathetic. Catarina works to understand what each student wants to learn on the piano, and then does her very best to convey that in every lesson.
