Our online piano teacher Jorge offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Doctorate in Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Jorge has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. As a performer, this pianist has played at various venues across Colombia, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and the United States, showcasing a diverse repertoire that includes classical, contemporary, and original compositions. His performances range from solo recitals to collaborations with ensembles, allowing him to explore different musical styles and connect with audiences. Jorge has extensive experience as a collaborative pianist, working with prestigious institutions such as Universidad de Caldas, Universidad de Antioquia, and the University of Memphis. This piano teacher has performed at weddings, both as a soloist and with ensembles, including trios. Additionally, Jorge has performed and presented lecture-recitals on Latin American composers and his own compositions in various countries. He has been awarded in numerous competitions, including the MTA in Mississippi. He has also premiered works by new composers, demonstrating a commitment to expanding his repertoire and supporting contemporary music. Jorge is dedicated to fostering a love for music in his students, providing personalized piano instruction that nurtures their individual talents and promotes both technical proficiency and artistic expression.
