About Ivy
Our online piano teacher, Ivy, offers classical piano lessons for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Masters of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Ivy has been teaching piano lessons since 1994. She has performed classical music concerts in colleges, churches, and venues such as Carnegie Recital Hall. Beginning in high school, this piano teacher performed on piano in chamber ensembles including her participation in a Chamber music program at Lincoln Center. She studied music at several universities and colleges in the United States and Europe. Since her introduction to being a piano accompanist at her elementary school assemblies and graduation, Ivy has gone on to accompany a variety of choirs, choruses, ballet classes, and vocal soloists. This piano teacher has written music for children's school shows, for radio, for poetry, and has arranged music for chorus. She inspires her piano students to work through any technical challenges with musical solutions and to gain inspiration by listening to new music and live piano performances.
