About Flavia
Our online piano teacher, Flavia, offers classical piano lessons for ages 10 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2013. In her career, Flavia has played as a soloist in festivals and concert halls such as the Royal Albert Hall (Elgar Room) in London and won many international competitions. This piano teacher has performed in multiple chamber music groups and has been invited by many foundations and associations to play all across Europe. Flavia plays well with many different instruments and has worked for years as a piano accompanist in two Italian conservatories. She has been a teaching tutor and piano accompanist for classes in cello, violin, flute, and clarinet. She has recorded an album of chamber music entirely dedicated to the Sicilian composer Eliodoro Sollima, and is writing a didactic book of compositions regarding contemporary style and trends for young and beginner-level piano students. She also works as a Senior Music Editor for an online magazine. Thanks to the different experiences she collected in her musical life in diverse circumstances, this piano teacher works with students in a productive relationship based on esteem, openness, and inspiration. She strives to connect their work together not only to music, but also to the greater artistic and social worlds.
