About Joe

Our online piano teacher Joe offers classical piano lessons for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Joe has been teaching piano lessons since 1992. In his career, he has performed actively for over 30 years as a soloist, giving frequent recitals while also focusing on recording projects, which include the piano sonatas of Mozart, the keyboard works of Scarlatti, and the complete solo works of Brahms. Over the course of his career, he has performed as part of orchestras, directed small bands, and has been an active chamber musician performing in recitals of trios, quartets, quintets, and even a few piano sextets with various string, woodwind, and mixed instrumental and vocal groups. He has been actively pursued as a piano accompanist, working with choirs, various soloists, and as rehearsal pianist for many Broadway productions. Most recently, Joe performed as pianist with the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra. His excellent conservatory training, coupled with a profound love of music, has allowed him to effectively bring music to many people. His teaching style is relaxed but focused and has helped many pianists improve their technique and musicality.
