About Maria-Elena
Our online piano teacher, Maria-Elena, offers classical piano lessons for ages 12 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Masters of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Maria-Elena has been teaching piano lessons since 2008, both privately and in various schools. She regularly performs classical piano repertoire, as well as contemporary, pop, rock, and jazz piano with several bands, for concerts, weddings, and other events. Maria-Elena also appears regularly on piano at duo concerts with various other instrumentalists such as cellists, saxophonists, and violinists. This piano teacher is currently a full-time staff pianist at the National School of Music (Malta) and a repetiteur for opera and musical theatre productions. She has written and performed original music for various smaller-scale and intimate settings. Moreover, she has a substantial amount of experience playing piano for ballet dancers at various schools and academies. When teaching piano lessons, Maria-Elena aims to enable her piano students to learn to play a variety of styles of piano music using a systemic method. This piano teacher offers flexible options for piano students who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, adapting to each student's learning style and goals.
