About Mehmet
Our online piano teacher, Mehmet, offers classical piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a PhD in Piano Performance, a Masters degree in Piano Accompaniment, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2001. The winner of several awards, Mehmet has performed solo piano and chamber music recitals across the United States, including as a piano soloist with the Florida Orchestra. He also performed in his native country of Turkey in national and international piano festivals. This piano teacher has participated actively in masterclasses of renowned pianists such as Gisela Brodsky, Leontina Margulis, Vitalij Margulis, Hüseyin Sermet and Andrei Diev. He has extensive experience as a piano accompanist for opera, chamber music, and vocalists. When teaching, Mehmet focuses on understanding the personality of each student, working to build self-confidence and a love for music. He believes in setting high standards and supporting his students to surpass their own expectations. His ultimate goal for his students is not only that they grow as piano performers, but also for them to look inside themselves, find their expression, and create their art.
