About Melissa
Our online piano teacher, Melissa, offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. This piano teacher has been teaching piano lessons since 2010. Melissa has performed in coffee shops and at wineries with a band, and performs as a piano accompanist for the Kansas City ballet's ROAD program. She has also accompanied many bands, orchestras, and vocal students on piano over the years. This piano teacher has worked in the classroom teaching 5th grade orchestra and substitute teaching for orchestra students from middle to high school. Melissa believes that music is a stimulus for students' minds, helping them improve in other subjects, and also a healthy and creative outlet for their daily lives.
