About Rebekah
Our online piano teacher Rebekah offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 3 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and a wealth of experience in both teaching and performing on piano. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2010 privately and in schools. In her performance career, Rebekah has performed as a solo pianist for parties, private events, and weddings, as well as with orchestras and chamber ensembles in concert settings. She has also accompanied instrumentalists and vocalists on piano throughout her university studies. Rebekah is a licensed music teacher in the state of Virginia for grades Pre-K to 12. She has won several music awards including the Semper Fidelis U. S. Marine Corps Youth Foundation Award for Musical Excellence, Superior Ratings for the Federation of Music Clubs Festival, and was a Tidewater Music Teachers Forum Honors RecitalParticipant. She was also the first place winner of the Rudolph C. Evans and James A. Bland Competitions and second place winner in the Eastern District Piano Competition and Shenandoah Conservatory Student Soloist Competition. This piano teacher has a fun and engaging approach to teaching that focuses on the goals of each individual student.
