About Jay
Our online piano teacher, Jay, offers piano lessons in all styles of music, for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. Jay has performed solo piano in prominent music venues in Guelph and Toronto, and spent time performing regularly at a lodge in the Canadian Rockies. He is an experienced improvisation teacher, jazz arranger, ensemble leader, and a trained piano accompanist. He also has considerable experience composing music for animated short films and commercials. This piano teacher specializes particularly in teaching jazz, blues, ragtime, R&B, and boogie-woogie piano to students of all musical backgrounds and skill levels.
